Blake Shelton has claimed that becoming a coach on The Voice has completely changed his life.

The country music star explained that working with fellow Voice coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine changed his entire perception of the music industry.

"I remember sitting in this room and everyone was talking and laughing. I felt a little like the black sheep," Shelton admitted to Redbook. "It wasn't until… about three days into production, when it was just the four of us sitting down together, that we clicked."

He added of his relationship with Aguilera, Green and Levine: "[The Voice] forced us to move out of our comfort zones. All of a sudden I was having conversations with people I had only read about in tabloids, and they're just normal people. And they know who I am, and that I [was] getting married to Miranda [Lambert], and they know who she is. It was surreal."

Since joining The Voice last year, Shelton has scored two US Country No.1 hits with 'Honey Bee' and 'God Gave Me You'.

It was recently announced that Kelly Clarkson and Lionel Richie will appear as guest mentors on The Voice's second season.

The Voice returns following the Super Bowl on February 5 on NBC.

[NEWS] BLAKE SHELTON ON CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S PAY WAGE: 'HELL, I'D PAY HER MORE'

If there's one person who agrees that Christina Aguilera should be making the most money on The Voice, it's her co-mentor Blake Shelton! "I read all the stuff," Blake tells Life & Style. "Like Christina is making more money than Adam [Levine]... Well, no s--t -- she's Christina Aguilera! Hell, I'd pay her more, too, you know what I mean?" Adam, 32, is reportedly receiving $75,000 per episode while Christina, 30, is raking in $225,000.

Despite reported rivalries between all of the show's mentors over their pay differences, Christina and Adam, who usually bicker on screen, hugged it out in a very public PDA during Wednesday's results show. Midway through the show, the Maroon 5 front man received news that his duet with Christina, "Moves Like Jagger," had just hit No. 1 on iTunes. Proving there was no love lost between the two, Adam made a beeline to his co-mentor and embraced her, then grabbed a microphone, an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "I just want to announce that our single has gone No. 1," beamed an exuberant Adam to the studio audience.

While Blake, 35, insists everything is pretty harmonious backstage, there are some tense moments. "Hell yes, we bitch at each other backstage, there's no question," he tells Life & Style. "When you work with people and are close to them, of course there will be times that you ask, 'What the hell, why did you say that?' But at the end of the day, there's not any of them I wouldn't consider a friend. I consider everyone on the show a friend."

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA GETS THE OPPOSITE OF 'DIRRTY' ON PROJECT RUNWAY

Where do starlets go when their career needs a boost? Apparently, “Project Runway.” Lindsay Lohan appeared as a guest judge on the show earlier in the season, and last night Christina Aguilera took her turn. Seeing her on the episode, sporting some serious bangs, reminded me why she’s been the pop star who’s totally fallen off the radar, even though she has the best voice. The girl is too darn nice!

The designer’s challenge last night was to create a show-stopping number for Christina to perform in. The designers went pretty predictable on this one, going for oodles of sequins and feathers. But during the judging panel, while Heidi Klum and Nina Garcia dug into the contestants, Christina totally let everyone off the hook. When Heidi told Shirin that her dress looked like it needed a broom and cauldron, Christina responded, “I didn’t get witchy from it.” Her comments for most of the contestants: “It’s nice.” Come on, Christina, these are dresses you’re supposed to wear—you have to have thoughts beyond that. The only person Christina was slightly harsh on was Logan—she said his dress was a little “cavewoman,” though she said she did like that he used “color.” Uh, it’s silver and black zebra print. No color there. Come on Christina, let the claws out! Get some mean analogies going! That’s why we watch the show!

Another hilarious moment was when guest judge Bob Mackie, who Tim Gunn nicknamed the “sultan of sequins,” gave a critique to Carol Hannah, who won the challenge. He liked her dress, but said the strapless pointy neckline was “tiresome.” Then in the next shot, the cameras showed Christina ... wearing the exact same neckline. And she didn’t even seem to notice the diss. I don’t know, Christina, I just think that a diva without the bite is a bore. I’d work on that.

IT SUCKED!



I set my DVR two days in advance to record the show I've been waiting for this episode since the season started and i was not impressed with the results. Last nights contestants did a piss poor ass job in designing an outfit for Christina. Carol Hannah Won last nights competition, but to me they just gave it to her cause they all sucked and honestly i dont think christina would wear any of those costumes, the textural black – a strapless gown with feathers, sheen and glitter that, while not a showstopper was still somewhat better than the rest. No one put any effort into it. The costumes were boring flat and at one point repetitive to what christina has done before. This is Christina Aguilera were talking about the Legendary Diva, The Voice of the Generation she is an ICON in the music industry and soon movie industry! these contestants could of had put more effort into designing with more creativity and style. Lucky for Gordana Gelhausen that she had immunity. She came undone during this competition and so did her tragic dress.



Christina was just being her usual self, and critized the costumes as best and nicely as she could. and to the winning costume, when Christina says that at some point she may just wear it, I THINK she just said that out of pity. But i probably would of said the same thing to be nice. Regarding Christina's outfit, she looked cute..like a little Japanese doll. we all know the hair style is no more since project runway was recorded MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS AGO!!

The teaser for this week's Project Runway outlined a Bob Mackie-inspired challenge, leading the blogosphere to think they'd get Cher on as a guest judge. But lo and behold, it's Christina Aguilera!



Known as much for her theatrical get-ups as for her voice - much like Cher, we might add - Xtina adds a little spice to what's sure to be a wild and crazy, Bob Mackie-fest challenge on Runway.



Boys and girls, this is going to be a good one.

[NEWS] CHRISTINA AGUILERA TO BE FEATURED ON PROJECT RUNWAY OCTOBER 15

LOS ANGELES, Calif.--

The runway is getting a diva.



Christina Aguilera will appear as a guest judge on the October 15 episode of Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” a rep for the show confirmed to Access Hollywood.



She’ll be the latest star to appear on the show, which this season has included guest judging appearances by Lindsay Lohan, Rachel Bilson, Rebecca Romijn and Eva Longoria Parker.



The show airs at 10 PM on Lifetime on Thursdays.

I want to introduce myself, I’m Aiden Valenciano, and I want to welcome you to “Christina’s BloG Spot” I along with Karlos, Joel & Josh will be giving you my honest opinion on what I think our Dirrty girl is doing. So Right now we don’t know much about what X-tina is Doing. But what I can say is that she is working on Something Great. With the new movie “Burlesque” about to start filming in November, she is probably preparing herself for the role (learning her lines etc...) She is probably taking classes to learn how to be a burlesque dancer, not everyone is born burlesque, she is probably also working out a lot. No junk food for her. Along with the New Album rumored to be released in November, you can also say that she is probably doing photo shoots for the album, planning the TOUR! Since it does take a more than year to plan a tour. She is going to come back with a BANG! It's going to blow everyone away. I personally don’t like the rumored album title “Light & Darkness,” it has no creativity like “Stripped” & “Back To Basics” those album titles were meaningful and full of creativity. Now don’t forget Christina is supposed to make a cameo appearance in “Get him to the Greek” which has just finished filming and will be released in April 2010. So stay tuned for the Movie Trailer that should be released within a month or so…PROJECT RUNWAY starts on August 20th, and as well Christina Aguilera Will be a guest judge this season. So watch the show and look for Christina. She’s going to be everywhere soon! Get Ready!
