The entire episode of Christina Aguilera on Project Runway! ENJOY!
Description of EPISODE 9:
Project Runway Season 6 Episode 9 was really about the characters. Oh, and Christina Aguilera. The designers are faced with the challenge of making a performance costume for Ms. Aguilera, most featuring feathers, lace, and lots and lots of sequins. But more so than the design process, we learned about the different personalities. Nicolas, we knew of before...you never know what you're going to get from him design-wise, and he's certainly willing to dig his nose into some drama. Carol-Hannah is the loveable nerd who says funny one-liners and makes everyone laugh. She and Logan have been sharing a table this whole time and have become good friends. "Logan's my good friend, who's really hot," says Carol-Hannah. "I'm the only person who this would happen to." Logan, for his part, plays the role of non-confrontational, non-controversial congenial hunk well.
Gordana is the slightly insecure mom type, but overall she seems well liked. Shirin is the annoying 11-year-old who continually starts over with her designs half way through. And then there's Irina. I loved her at first; she was smart, independent and talented. She's still all of those things, but also judgmental, harsh and cruel. Nicolas sums it up the best: "Irina's actually a really good designer, the only problem with her is she's a bitch." She seems to think she's better than everyone and that everyone has "bargain basement" design sensibilities. At one point, she bashes Carol-Hannah to her model, saying: "Carol Hannah annoys the f**k out of me. I think she's a really mediocre designer. I mean, at least have a good personality." Last I checked, everyone liked Carol-Hannah, and despised you, Irina. "I just wish she would stop acting like everybody worked for her," laments Nicolas.
Nina is back to judge, along with designer Bob Mackie, and, of course, Xtina. Irina is the only one whose scores qualify her for the next round, and Gordana is also dismissed due to her immunity (although Heidi mentions that without it, her matronly white disaster dress may have very well sent her home). On the bottom: Shirin, Christopher, Logan. On the top: Althea, Carol-Hannah, Nicolas. Carol-Hannah wins with a glamorous, shimmering black strapless gown with feathered texture around the midsection. It's her first win. Logan is spared (his design was definitely not as bad as Christopher and Shirin's, but that face doesn't hurt either). Shirin's "upscale Halloween witch dress" cost her her slot on Project Runway. I'm sure some of the designers are rejoicing right now.
