‘Big News’ from Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera is cooking something and it seems to be big. After a break from recording music to spend more time with her family, the singer is en route to a massive comeback, as speculation would have it for many months now. Fans might actually expect to hear something related to that in just a few days, as a countdown clock on Christina’s official website would seem to indicate.

We were telling you a while back about much talk of whether “iamamiwhoami” was Christina Aguilera, teasing fans with bits of the sound she’s to adopt for her upcoming music album. On the same note, we informed you her next material, believed to be called “Bionic” had been pushed back and would see release in April 2010, as inside sources revealed. The “big announcement” heralded on her website might have something to do with that, JustJared also believes.

“Christina Aguilera is expected to announced some very big news in three days – Tuesday, March 23 @ 12PM EST. There’s a countdown to the big news on her official website, ChristinaAguilera.com. The new artwork displayed on her placeholder site seems to be the new direction for Christina’s new music. It looks a little inspired by robotics, mechanics and A Clockwork Orange. Remember Christina dressed up as Clockwork’s Alex for her 28th birthday?” the celebrity e-zine writes.

As also noted above, the announcement could be about the upcoming album. “Christina Aguilera’s upcoming fourth studio album, ‘Bionic,’ has been pushed back, according to sources. The album is now set for an April 2010 release. In a statement, RCA Records announced that the album was delayed before it was scheduled to hit stores around the world in March. The record company did not mention the exact date of the album’s release, but said that her first single would be ‘Glam’ and would be released next month,” EarSucker was writing a while back, as we also informed you.

Here is the teaser for the big announcement: keep an eye on the official website and here for more updates on this.
