Editors Note:
Hmm... I don't know if we should get too excited about this rumor. We already know that Christina is working with long time Madonna producer, William Orbit on her new album, due Spring/Summer 2012. He has also been working with Madonna on some new material. So the rumor could have been a misunderstanding, but who knows. I may be wrong. We will have to wait and see how it pans out. But it would be pretty awesome to see the Queen of Pop collaborate with Legendtina.

[CHARTS] 'MOVES LIKE JAGGER' BY MAROON 5 FEAT. CHRISTINA AGUILERA LANDS IN AT NUMBER 1
"Jagger" returns for a second week at No. 1 on Digital Songs (2-1) with 217,000 downloads sold (up 6%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. On Radio Songs, the collaboration darts 15-11 with 72 million all-format audience impressions (up 20%), according to Nielsen BDS.
The song marks Maroon 5's second Hot 100 No. 1. The band previously reigned for three weeks in 2007 with "Makes Me Wonder." For Aguilera, the return to the chart's apex ends an even greater hiatus. She had last ruled alongside Lil' Kim, Mya and P!nk on "Lady Marmalade" for five weeks in 2001. "Jagger" is Aguilera's fifth Hot 100 No. 1. She banked three leaders from her self-titled debut album in 1999-2000: "Genie in a Bottle," "What a Girl Wants" and "Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You)."
The accolades don't end, however, for Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine. He concurrently enters the Hot 100's top 10 (15-10) as a featured artist on Gym Class Heroes' "Stereo Hearts." The track vaults 7-3 on Digital Songs (146,000, up 28%) and 37-23 on Radio Songs (40 million, up 28%).
The ascensions of "Jagger" and "Stereo" grant Levine an unprecedented (and certainly quirky) Hot 100 achievement: he becomes the first artist in the chart's 53-year history to reach No. 1 as part of a group and enter the top 10 as a soloist in the same week.
"Jagger" dethrones Katy Perry's "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" from the Hot 100 pinnacle after two weeks at No. 1. The song - the record-setting fifth No. 1 from her album "Teenage Dream"
In between "Jagger" and "Friday" on the Hot 100, LMFAO's former six-week No. 1 "Party Rock Anthem," featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, holds at No. 2; Foster the People's "Pumped Up Kicks" roars 7-3; and, Bad Meets Evil's "Lighters," featuring Bruno Mars, rises 6-4.
Rounding out the rest of the Hot 100's 10 are Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" (5-6); Lil Wayne's "How to Love" (8-7); OneRepublic's "Good Life" (9-8); and, Pibull's former No. 1 "Give Me Everything," featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer (11-9).
On the doorstep of the Hot 100's top 10, Rihanna claims Digital Gainer honors with "Cheers (Drink to That)," which soars 17-11. The song bounds 15-5 on Digital Songs (131,000, up 68%), while lifting 19-17 on Radio Songs (52 million, up 13%).
Two titles that make lofty leaps into the Hot 100's top 20 will likely sport further gains next week following buzz-generating appearances on Sunday night's (Aug. 28) MTV Video Music Awards. Lady Gaga's "You and I" charges 35-16, up 92% in digital sales (to 109,000) and 50% in airplay (to 32 million). Adele's "Someone Like You" similarly soars 34-19 on the Hot 100 with gains in sales (95,000 downloads, up 68%) and radio play (29 million, up 41%).
Eight songs debut on the Hot 100, led by "Hell on Heels" (No. 55) by Miranda Lambert side project Pistol Annies. The song is the title cut from the trio's debut album, which shoots onto the Billboard 200 at No. 5.
Game, who takes the Billboard 200's top spot with "The R.E.D. Album," enters the Hot 100 at No. 100 with a cut from the set, "Martians Vs Goblins."
All charts, including the Hot 100, Digital Songs and Radio Songs will be refreshed tomorrow (Sept. 1) on Billboard.com.

[VOTE] CHOOSE CHRISTINA FOR VMA 'MOST OUTRAGEOUS' 'MOMENT' & 'OUTFIT' & 'BEST VIDEO'

Outrageous moments are nothing new to the MTV Video Music Awards, the two go together like bread and butter.
We suppose things are bound to get a little wild when you throw the biggest stars in the world into a room for the express purpose of having a good time. The VMA's are unlike any other awards show around because the point isn’t to have a quiet, dignified gathering to honor the best album by a 100-piece orchestra; it’s to rock out and give props to the hottest things in music in a particular year.
Instead of sleepy applause and thanking the academy, you get the Queen of Pop locking lips with her heir apparent or living legend Diana Ross getting a little grabby with an overexposed Lil Kim. That’s just how we roll here at MTV.
While just about every VMA moment is pretty outrageous, a few definitely stand out and have withstood the test of time to burn themselves into the collective consciousness of we connoisseurs of pop culture. Help us decide which of these eight incidents is the most outrageous moment in VMA history.
- Nirvana’s Krist Novoselic tosses bass/smacks self in face during “Lithium” performance (1992)
- Howard Stern’s Fartman appearance (1992)
- Michael Jackson and Lisa Marie Presley kiss (1994)
- Courtney Love crashes Madonna interview (1995)
- Diana Ross grabs Lil Kim’s pasty-covered boob (1999)
- Rage Against the Machine bassist climbs the set (2000)
- Madonna kisses Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera (2003)
- Kid Rock vs. Tommy Lee fight (2007)

Award shows are all about fashion. We drool over the glamorous gowns actresses sport for the Oscars and the Golden Globes and scour the Internet to see who dressed like a fool at the Grammys. But what happens when the traditional rules of award show attire go out the window?
The MTV Video Music Awards, that’s what!
At the VMA's, sexy is key and anything goes. It's all about who can get the most ink for wearing the wildest outfit. Seriously, what other awards show can say someone wore a meat dress to their festivities?
From pacifiers and pasties to dresses that also serve as advertisements and men in pink pleather and roller skates, wild outfits are the norm at the VMA's. But who takes the cake for the most outrageous outfit ever?
- Lil Kim’s pasty (1999)
- Prince’s blue jumpsuit (1999)
- Macy Gray’s “Buy My Album” dress (2001)
- Andy Dick’s Christina Aguilera outfit (2001)
- Mudvayne’s bloody faces (2001)
- Britney Spears’ leather biker ensemble (2002)
- Christina Aguilera’s denim skirt (2002)
- Jack Black’s Michael Jackson gear (2003)
- Lil Mama’s pacifier (2009)
- Lady Gaga’s meat dress (2010)

The ‘90s shattered the conventions of the music video. Suddenly every musician wanted their video to be the biggest and splashiest of all. Budgets roared to insane levels – Michael and Janet Jackson’s 1995 video for "Scream" is in the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive ever, costing around $7 million – and video directors became stars themselves (hello, Hype Williams, David Fincher and Mark Romanek).
So by the 00s, a video had to be on point to get much attention at the MTV Video Music Awards. The concept had to be solid, the costumes needed to be out of this world and the special effects had to be through the roof. You want a brothel featuring some of the biggest pop starlets in the world? You got it – Christina, Pink, Mya and Lil Kim are waiting. Care to see Rihanna control water with her bare hands? Just don’t forget your “Umbrella.”
It’s a lot to live up to. But so far eleven videos can call themselves the best videos of their respective years. Which one is the best of the decade? We’ll leave that one up to you guys.
- Eminem, "The Real Slim Shady"
- Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mya, & Pink f/ Missy, "Lady Marmalade"
- Eminem, "Without Me"
- Missy Elliott, "Work It"
- Outkast, "Hey Ya!"
- Green Day, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams"
- Panic! At the Disco, "I Write Sins Not Tragedies"
- Rihanna f/ Jay-Z, "Umbrella"
- Britney Spears, "Piece of Me"
- Beyonce, "Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)"
- Lady Gaga, "Bad Romance"

[NEWS] 'ONLY CHRISTINA AGUILERA HAS UNDERSTOOD WHAT MADONNA'S GAME IS ABOUT...'
Through music history we have seen, fortunately, all kind of artists and singers doing their thing. Female singers have paid the price of gender inequality. Still, it never mattered at all for people like Tracy Chapman, Sinéad O'Connor or Tori Amos: all of them are brave, valuable, talented women never afraid to speak their minds. But when it comes to sex, people have the weirdest reactions, thoughts and feelings. If you put together sex and music the thing gets hotter. Well, "hotter" if you are a man. For women it just gets harder and harder, no pun intended.
Just ask Madonna: she has taken all kind of insults, derogatory terms and even death threats only for being sexual and herself at the same time. She did use sex a lot as a form of marketing. But according to all her detractors who claimed she just "sells sex" and nothing else, her career would have ended as soon as 1994 arrived. Right?
But Ciccone evolved from being the 'sexiest' pop star to the most influential and successful woman in show biz history. Too much to say. But albums like "Ray of Light", "Like a Prayer", "True Blue", "Music" or "Confessions on a Dance Floor" speak volumes about her artistry and points of view as a woman. Nevertheless, controversy has never been away from her. Do you remember The Confessions Tour's Live To Tell on-stage performance?
There's something "bad" about queen of pop's legacy though not entirely her fault: She made believe to a whole new generation of pop stars that, by taking your clothes off and acting sexy all around you can be the greatest music star. It has worked for many: just take a look at Britney Spears, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Christina Aguilera and even the talentless I-can't-sing-a-single-note Katy Perry.
But just a few of all these women, let's say only Christina, have understood what Madonna's game was about: it's a lot easier to show off your naked body on a video or onstage than producing an album like Ray of Light. In other words, sex was only a part of Madonna's media attack.
Samantha Fox was very sexy too, so was Sabrina Salerno or Apollonia Kotero. They showed some skin too. But none of them were able to get people questioning about themselves, life and art like Madge has. Many of her detractors have not listened to masterpieces like "Promise To Try", "Live To Tell", "X-Static Process" or "Nothing Fails". But again, does it really matter what they think?
Only time will tell who of all these new young stars stays and who disappears. And in the middle of this media fever of sexy starlets, Madonna can only smile and think... "I'm pretty much up there with Aretha, Tina, Barbra and Janis... now dare to dream!"

[NEWS] 'BURLESQUE' CASTMATE FEELING THE PAIN
Kristen Bell is in a lot of pain these days.
"I've started dance rehearsals and my neck is sore and my inner thighs are so sore," Bell told me at last night's Vanity Fair-hosted launch of Guess?'s new T-shirt benefiting Invisible Children.
No, the actress is not training for a stint on Dancing With the Stars. She's getting ready to start shooting Burlesque, director Steve Antin's upcoming drama in which she and Christina Aguilera costar as rivals at a Hollywood burlesque club owned by a former dancer played by Cher.
Rounding out the cast is Twilight stud Cam Gigandet, Julianne Hough and Stanley Tucci.
So just how much skin will Bell and the other young starlets be flashing in the film? Sounds like a lot, but...
"My character is fun and sexy but not a stripper," Bell said. "There is no nudity, and there are no pasties and G-strings."
Her costumes include Madonna-esque cone bras and "Marilyn Monroe boy shorts—the high-waisted panties kind of thing," Bell explained.
"It's very artistic burlesque," she said. "Burlesque is a tease. It's not meant to really give that much away because that wouldn't be considered a tease. It would be considered giving away the goods."
Dancing aside, Bell may end up—gulp!—singing with Xtina. It's not something the former Veronica Mars star is looking forward to.
"There's a competition between the two of us," she said. "I really want to sing and she's allowed to sing at the club so we fight...In the end when all is well, they may sing together. I almost wish they wouldn't, because I would rather just listen to Christina."

[NEWS] PEREZ SPREADS SHIT ABOUT CHRISTINA
Quoting Perez Hilton:This is some mayjah shiz talking!!Editor's Note:
Celeb photographer Rankin has worked with some supreme divas including the likes of Kate Moss, La Loca and Madonna, but the only person he's gotta beef with is Christina Aguilera.
In the new issue of Closer magazine, Rankin had some choice words for the singer.
He dished:
"Christina was a diva from hell and pure torture to be around. She's so self-obsessed. She insisted her chauffeur drive her indoors into the studio so she wasn't papped - even though there was nobody outside. Then she crashed my after-party and her bodyguard stood outside the bathroom shouting: 'Nobody but Christina uses this toilet" She's a joke!"
We hope Rankin isn't found with a pitchfork through his heart!

[VIDEO] ASHLEY TISDALE: 'I GOT INSPIRED BY CHRISTINA AGUILERA'
Ashley says her 2007 debut album Headstrong was “me getting to know myself as an artist and learning about the whole [recording] process,” whereas with her new release, Guilty Pleasure, “I knew exactly what I wanted.”Source: UStream
Guilty Pleasure “is a little more edgier and mature than the first one. It’s a reflection of where I am in my life right now. It’s a little more guitar-driven a little more pop rock, but it’s fun—it’s upbeat.” “I got inspired by Christina Aguilera, Madonna, Gwen Stefani—they all did their own thing and with each album they’re always changing, so you’re always interested”
Ashley co-wrote “What If” with American Idol judge, Kara DioGuardi and says it’s her most personal song. “It’s about when you’re in a relationship, how you’re always fighting to make it work,” she says. The song asks, “if I really needed you, would you be there for me?” Kidzworld wanted to know if “What If” was written for someone in particular. “It was,” Ashley says, but will she tell us who? “No,” she laughs—guess it’s up to the fans to figure that one out!
