[NEWS] DUBAI IS ABOUT TO SEE A LOT MORE OF XTINA STARTING TOMORROW, NOV 18TH @ 10PM

Due to the enormous success of NBC's 'The Voice,' Dubai has earned the licensing rights to broadcast it to a Middle-Eastern audience. For those who don't know, Dubai is a global city and political territory of United Arab Emirates (UAE). 'Dubai One' is a local network television channel that provides programming in the English and Arabic languages, respectively.

Quoting the original article:
Dubai One, the number one free-to-air English-speaking television channel in the region, is the first one to have the license to broadcast The Voice! Are you an avid Dubai One follower? You should be proud!

Don’t forget to watch out for Christina Aguilera and the guys on The Voice which will premiere tomorrow November 18! And you can watch it every Friday at 10 p.m.
Whether or not 'The Voice' will be censored for content remains to be unseen due to the prevalence of homosexuality (a select amount of contestants are openly gay) and drugs (at least one contestant openly admits to past drug abuse while openly sharing his life journey).

Censorship is a commonality in this culture because it's a belief held by the majority of Dubai's government that such content is considered a violation of cultural and political sensitivities upheld by the Emirates because these topics are generally considered taboo.

Cultural differences should be respected and regarded as what is the 'norm' for that region. [Joel]
