CHRISTINA AND NICOLE'S NIGHT OUT

Stepping out for a fun-filled evening, Christina Aguilera and Nicole Richie were spotted at Voyeur nightclub last night (July 22).

The “Ain’t No Other Man” songstress and the “Simple Life” actress both looked a bit worn out from their motherly duties as they made their exit from the Los Angeles hot spot.

In career news, Nicole is gearing up for another book tour, this time to promote her upcoming novel titled “Priceless.”

Meanwhile, Christina is still plugging away on promotion for her album Bionic, just having released a video for her single “You Lost Me.”

KATY PERRY TALKS SHIT ABOUT ASSLESS CHAPS

Katy Perry shows her flower power as she graces the cover of Billboard’s newest issue.

Here’s what the 25-year-old “California Gurls” singer had to share:

On her first single off her new record: “I’m not saying, ‘Oh, my God! ‘California Gurls’ is a f—ing genius opus!’ I just know what kind of card this summer needs, and that’s the one I’m playing.”

On not having to resort to scandalous stunts to get attention: “I’m not coming out trying to prove anything to anyone, like, ‘Oh, I’m in assless chaps!’ or ‘I can’t be tamed! I’ve already been through that phase. I started at 23, you know?”

On the inspiration for “Fireworks”: “Basically I have this very morbid idea…when I pass, I want to be put into a firework and shot across the sky over the Santa Barbara Ocean as my last hurrah. I want to be a firework, both living and dead. My boyfriend showed me a paragraph out of Jack Kerouac’s book On the Road, about people that are buzzing and fizzing and full of life and never say a commonplace thing. They shoot across the sky like a firework and make people go, ‘Ahhh.’ I guess that making people go ‘ahhh’ is kind of like my motto.”

Editor's Note: Hypocrite. Oh and she may not like assless chaps but she sure does fancy herself a blue wig... That's all I'm saying.

[PHOTOS] EXCLUSIVE: CHRISTINA AGUILERA 'YOU LOST ME' MUSIC VIDEO STILLS

Christina Aguilera is back and better than ever with her powerhouse new ballad 'You Lost Me,' and PopEater is excited to bring you exclusive behind-the-scenes photos from the music video shoot. On the somber track, the singer maintains the futurism of her 'Bionic' album while bringing the honesty and emotion that have made Aguilera one of the premier balladeers of our time.

Anthony Mandler, who wrote the treatment for the 'You Lost Me' video, explains, "From the first keys of the opening of the track, we know that we are about to watch something that is going to move and transform us."

The video will feature a series of connected vignettes.

"In the end, we've traveled through Christina's world. One that is physical, mental and spiritually charged. Nothing is what it seems. Everything is fractured and evolving, falling away ... fragile," he adds.

An official video premiere date has not been announced.

Christina Aguilera’s new video for You Lost Me doesn’t drop until next Tuesday, but we’ve got a sneak peek for you right now! The video looks much more like Beautiful as opposed to Not Myself Tonight. I don’t care if it’s a blank screen for 3 1/2 minutes as long as I don’t have to hear about her copying Lady Gaga anymore.

Here are more pics from the You Lost Me video shoot and don’t forget to check out the video on MuchMusic and MuchMusic.com when it drops on Tuesday July 20!

[VIDEO OF THE DAY] CHRISTINA AGUILERA: 'THE VOICE WITHIN'

Editor's Note:
As we patiently wait for the Release of the "You Lost Me" music video i thought it would be a good idea to go back and reflect on what Christina has brought to the table so far. Bionic IS Christina's most FUN album she has ever released with beat popping tracks like "Desnudate" "Elastic Love" "Prima Donna" among many more. The first single "Not Myself Tonight" was the phttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giferfect single to be released putting the cherry on top for the product with the Music Video, giving it the style and look of how she wanted to promote it..with the You Lost Me music video preview i saw almost 2 videos combined, "Beautiful" & "The Voice Within" But knowing Christina Aguilera shes going to push boundaries again and make a video that will be astounding. We still have a lot coming from Christina, remember we are still waiting for the Theatrical Trailer, book, and soundtrack for Burlesque. Among many more performances and surprises she has in store for you, like a ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE COVER she has made one for every album lets see what iconic cover she bring for this edition.

ALLEGED: NEW Q MAGAZINE INTERVIEW!

When was the last time you stayed up all night?
It would have been my video shoot for Not Myself Tonight. I didn't go to bed till five in the morning. In the freezing rain, in the cold, wearing a two-piece red latex outfit. Torture! But beautiful. I'm really into fetish gear and latex is really making a strong statment for me. Good body contours.
Has your husband worn it?
I would not know! And I'll never know! You don't wanna get your balls caught in that.
When was the last time you used public transportation?
Like taxi or bus or what? I can't even remember. Hah hah! What's a diva? Well if the shoe fits...
When was the last time you thought, "I can't go out wearing this" because it was too risque?
Never! Well, maybe when I was pregnant. There was no latex then.
When was the last time you were in a fight?
Verbally? Two weeks ago.
With who?
Did you win?
I did, actually. In the long run...
When was the last time you got a piercing?
Oh not in years. Not since my Stripped days.
When was the last time you removed a piercing?
Probably when I got pregnant.
The diamond one down below?
No, that I took out earlier.
When was the last time you thought about death?
Not death but I've been thinking about an end-of-the-world moment.
We are aproaching 2012.
Let's not talk about that! Since I had my son Max I'm hypersensitive for safety.
When was the last time to spoke to Britney?
Years.
When was the last time you cooked a proper meal?
Cooked? It's not in my vocabularly. I don't really know how to cook but I know how to hook up a great baked potato.
Is Max living on pizza and baked potatoes?
No, I supply him with an amazing chef.
When was the last time you did something illegal?
Probably a month ago. I can't tell you what. I don't even know why it's illegal anyway.
What was the last song you couldn't get out of your head?
There was alot of Prodigy playing on the video shoot. I got really into them again. Their first album.
They have a new one out.
I have to get that. I should work with them next.
When was the last time you played Guitar Hero?
I've never played it. I'm a big gamer, but old school. Mario, Donkey Kong, Pacman. I have all those big arcade games and pinball machines at home. It's fun.
When was the last time you were physically sick?
I got nauseous with exhaustion the other day from a video shoot. It was just a long day.
What's the last thing you'd do if the world was ending?
I would panic and cling to my son and husband and dogs. And then figure out a plan from there.

NEXT GREAT GAY ICON IS... CHRISTINA AGUILERA!

When the votes first started coming in, it looked like it was going to be a slam dunk for Lady Gaga to take the title. But part of being a diva is having a fanbase passionate enough to show their support and while Adam Lambert briefly had the lead, first Britney Spears grabbed it and then Christina Aguilera's fans put her out front to stay.

I have to say I was shocked that neither Lady Gaga nor Adam Lambert's fans ever did a big vote push. Perhaps that says something about their followings? But whatever the reason, congrats to Miss Aguilera! And let the arguing commence!

Here were the final results!

“Bout me & Xtina ! Didn’t know her b4, but she worked her a** off,” Cher Tweeted on Tuesday night. “She has my respect & a great deal of my love.”

JUSTIN BIEBER TALKS ABOUT CHRISTINA + 'GENIE IN A BOTTLE'

CHRISTINA AGUILERA: POST-SALON PEP-UP

Looking to score a caffeinated concoction, Christina Aguilera was spotted hitting up a coffee shop in Beverly Hills on Tuesday afternoon (July 6).

The “Ain’t No Other Man” songstress looked a bit rough around the edges, sporting some baggy sweats and a makeup-less complexion as she strolled out of the local brew house.

Prior to her coffee stop, Ms. Aguilera spent some time at an exclusive Beverly Hills salon for some pampering.

In career news, despite her Bionic album’s less-than-stellar sales, Christina’s latest release has been named the best pop album of the year so far by Billboard.

AGGRESSIVE DESIGN PAINTS CUSTOM MIC SET FOR CHRISTINA AGUILERA USING TRANSTAR

Seth Boldman, owner and designer at Aggressive Designs, recently painted a one-of-a-kind microphone and microphone stand for Christina Aguilera’s 2010 MTV Movie Award performance. Made from start to finish using Transtar products, the stand and mic were finished off with Transtar’s Glamour Clear (#9461) to give it the perfect shine on stage.

The candy apple red stand is composed of ‘lips’ stacked one on top of another with an old race car steering wheel as the base. The mic matches the stand’s candy apple red and reads ‘Xtina’ in a tattoo script. Though the mic set was made specifically for the 2010 MTV Movie Awards, Aguilera was so pleased with Boldman’s work that she is taking the mic set on tour.

Boldman took two days to finish the product and said that Aguilera was looking for the mic set to ‘match her red lips’. This is not the first time Boldman has created a unique design for Aguilera and does custom work for other celebrities including Lady Gaga and Tom Cruise.

WHICH DIVA IS THE NEXT GENERATION'S GREAT GAY ICON?

Icon Possibility #2: Christina Aguilera

The Pros: Christina’s ever changing style is closely reminiscent of the great Madonna. She has gone from pop princess to the sultry yet classy Ms. Aguilera in a mere decade. Plus she possesses one of the best and most powerful voices of her generation. Then there is the fact she is also a strong supporter of gay rights and like Lady Gaga also identifies as bisexual.

The Cons: One word: Xtina. Sexual expression is just fine and is partly why other generations may have chosen their icons, but is this something we want for this generation’s icon? Gay men are already often seen as hypersexual. Besides, didn’t we do this with Madonna already? On top of that, there is the fact that Miss Aguilera just doesn’t have the star power she used to. Perhaps it’s time to strike out in a different direction.

BILLBOARD'S REVIEW OF 'BIONIC' (AMAZING REVIEW)

Fri Jul 2, 2010 5:49pm EDT
ARTIST: CHRISTINA AGUILERA

ALBUM: BIONIC

NEW YORK (Billboard) - We may have love affairs with all kinds of gimmicky divas, but it takes Christina Aguilera to remind us that singing really matters. That's not to say the pop star's latest release, "Bionic," is all about her voice, a muscular acrobat that's become more elegant with age. Combine it with the inventive work of a diverse cast of producers and you've got the best mainstream pop album of the year thus far. Sure, "Bionic" was made for a post-Lady Gaga world, where the comparisons are inevitable and the sales stakes are high. But from the fidgety intro of the dub-tastic opening title track (produced by Santigold collaborators John Hill & Switch) to punk-brat driving song "My Girls" (produced by Le Tigre, with a guest rap from Peaches) to Aguilera's gloriously restrained delivery on "All I Need" (Sia Furler co-produced the vocals), the 18-song set shows an artist confident enough to take direct cues from her tuned-in creative team. Because she's bold enough to do it her way, Aguilera maintains her reign.

[MULTIMEDIA] ET EXCLUSIVE: 'BIONIC' CHRISTINA AGUILERA ON MUSIC AND MOTHERHOOD

[SMART-PHONE FRIENDLY]

Christina Aguilera is back in the spotlight after a four-year break with her new hit album Bionic and the upcoming movie ‘Burlesque,’ and the multiple-Grammy winner reveals to ET’s own Kevin Frazier whether or not she plans to expand her family!

“Bionic is definitely my baby at the moment,” says Christina. “Eventually, in the future, I do want to expand on my family and have another one, but for now, Bionic is the baby and ‘Burlesque’ is the other baby.”

“I couldn’t be happier about … the fact that the album’s inspired by my son, and the future, and the feeling of the movement of electronica music, in a sense,” says Christina, “but still maintaining that rawness of having those definite ballads that evoke that pure, honest emotion. … Being able to just pour my heart out into the beauty and emotion of a song is very important to me.”

What kept her from the spotlight for so much time? Christina explains: “The first year we spent touring, getting pregnant, living that out, becoming a mother, taking the first year to sort of do the mom thing, feel what that’s really like, and then be inspired for my new record. Then I accepted the movie ‘Burlesque,’ and that was almost a year away from the public eye.”

Christina stars opposite Cher, Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Alan Cumming, Julianne Hough and more in the upcoming big-screen musical, in theaters this November, and she says of the ‘Burlesque’ experience, “Acting is a completely different animal, but it definitely is something — it gave me a lot of tools to now use in my world of music.”

And Christina says that when she goes home at night after work, her two-year-old son Max with hubby Jordan Bratman gets all the attention a child deserves from a loving mother: “I sing my son to sleep with ‘Mary Poppins’ [songs],” she says, “and rock and cradle him and cover him up in bed and do really silly things that we won’t even mention.”
