For the past couple of years they have had some pretty crappy nominations in this category. Besides Adele I can't think of another good vocal performance.
I think there's no way she'll be nominated for the song BOUND TO YOU on "pop vocal performance or song of the year" category. that wasn't even released as a single not even the carrier single or soundtrack of Burlesque.

It is very probable, although the Grammy's this year were particularly unfair ...Watch this: Grammy for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance went to another, instead to one that does deserve it like "You Lost Me"!, That was not even nominee, but was much more deserving to win that award... God!... I mean, the award is called: Best Female Pop "VOCAL" Performance... Man!
I'm not seeing any future to any category "BOUND TO YOU" is nominated. that's not gonna win, i mean this song is good vocally but people doesnt know that it's existing, u know. BUT I WISH HER GOODLUCK FOR "MOVES LIKE JAGGER" SONG OF THE YEAR!!!! woohoo! :P

ReplyDeleteAgree with Anon above. Why wouldn't she win for her beautiful, heartfelt, emotional, moving performance of BOUND TO YOU. OMG, I just couldn't believe the raw emotion in that song. She deserves to win an Academy Award for this song.....bravo!!!!
