[NEWS] 'I'M WRITING SO MUCH. I'VE BEEN INSPIRED BY...THE GOOD, THE BAD, THE HIGHS, THE LOWS...'

Christina Aguilera will never put movies before her music career.

The 30-year-old star made her film debut last year in 'Burlesque', and while she is looking for more cinematic projects, she insists her main focus will always be as a singer.

She said: "I'm always reading scripts. 'Burlesque' was something that came to my door that I was truly inspired to do. It was the right time and place for me to dive into that world I've always been inspired by.

"But I'm not going to do back-to-back movies just to do them. Music is always my first love and where my time and attention will remain.

"But film is something that will be on my mind and I am looking for the next project."

Christina split from her husband Jordan Bratman - the father of her three-year-old son Max - last year and she admits their break-up and subsequent divorce has inspired some tracks for her next album.

She told Britain's Hello! magazine: "I'm in the studio now working on my next album and I'm writing so much. I've been inspired by a lot over the past year, the experiences I've had, the good, the bad, the highs, the lows - it will all be apparent in the lyrics.

"The mood of the album will be very introspective, heartfelt and deep rooted."

[NEWS] CHRISTINA'S RAUNCY X FACTOR NUMBER FORCES SIMON COWELL TO TONE DOWN THE SHOW

[SMART-PHONE FRIENDLY]

X Factor boss Simon Cowell said the show will be toned "down a bit" after last year's finale sparked thousands of complaints.

Pre-watershed scenes featuring Christina Aguilera and her backing dancers in a racy routine saw 2868 complaints made to media regulator Ofcom.

The singer donned a short black dress while her female dancers, who were bent over chairs, wore suspenders, bra tops, fishnet stockings and basques in the raunchy routine.

Cowell said he had listened to public opinion, adding: "I think based on the reaction we'd have to tone it down a bit."

He said he was pleased with the new judging panel on the show and described Tulisa Contostavlos and Kelly Rowland as "genius" and said for it to continue being a success "you can't keep doing things the same year after year after year".

Cowell said he does not think he has "fallen out" with Cheryl Cole but admitted he had only had a couple of texts from her since she was dropped as a judge on the US version of The X Factor.

He said viewers will see her in the first episode which was recorded before she left the series when she was replaced with former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger only three weeks after starting the job.

Cowell said: "I thought she would work better in England, nothing more than that, you will see her in the first episode but she doesn't look as comfortable on the American show as she does in the English show."

He said he offered her a role on the UK version of the show and a return to the US version but she turned both down, having also turned down an earlier opportunity to appear on the panel of Britain's Got Talent.

"She was offered BGT before X Factor and she basically had cold feet. She said yes and with two days to go she said this isn't for me," he said.

Cowell, who said he had been "incredibly close" to the Girls Aloud star at one time, added: "I don't think we've fallen out, at least I don't think so."

[SCANS] STAR MAGAZINE: CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S SECRET WEDDING CEREMONY!

Editor's Note:

Christina Aguilera is featured on this week's hot mess tabloid, Star Magazine, with the cover story about a shotgun wedding with her and Matt Rutler. This couldn't be more fake, but we didn't want you guys to go out and waste your hard earned dollars on this steaming pile of horseshit, so we uploaded it for you. Not only do they incorrectly cite 'Burlesque' as a flop (It has gone on to sell more than 100 million worldwide), but their attempt at lazy journalism doesn't stop there since they are wrong about the date in which Aguilera was publicly detained earlier this year. At least the publication chose a hot shot of Christina in their lineup of celebrity weddings.

[NEWS] DITA VON TEESE: 'OF COURSE, I CAN'T SING LIKE CHRISTINA AGUILERA, BUT...'

What’s your favorite song to perform to?
I have all my own music made, which is one of my favorite parts of creating these shows. I find obscure music from the past and have musicians re-record it with all new instruments and change certain parts. I have a great guy who works with me on my music. I’m not really a singer, but I had an idea as a tribute to one of my idols Gypsy Rose Lee. I decided to record a song. I recorded this about four years ago for the Crazy Horse when I was there. It’s a song that Mae West originally called “A Guy Takes His Time.” Incidentally, last year in the movie Burlesque, they also used that song after they saw me perform it. Of course, I can’t sing like Christina Aguilera, but it’s definitely done in my own style and has a great musical arrangement.

[SPECIAL REPORT] CONGRATULATIONS, XTINA!

We as fans, can't really ask for anything else from Christina Maria Aguilera. In ONE year, she has released a full LP, Bionic, a ball of bright bursting energy that truly is the greatest album of 2010 no matter what haters have to say about it. She stepped into new artistic territory with her very first feature film, Burlesque, in which she acted her ass off in a debut film. The crossover artists are few when it comes to achieving the kind of success she has in crossing over from singer to silver screen siren. Not to mention the Burlesque soundtrack in which Christina herself had executive producing rights to which gave us 8 more songs/videography from that alone. She has endured personal hardships, and has really come out the better person, striving for inner peace and happiness, and is ready to share her setbacks and triumphs with the entire world...mesmerizing. She is apart of a #1 television show, The Voice, in which she was placed at the forefront of all the promo, doing countless interviews, appearances, and has gained an audience of 12 million + people tuning in each week. She's everywhere. Late Night programs, magazine covers, real unscripted interviews where she's speaking from the heart, a hot new collaboration with Maroon 5. People everywhere are talking about her! We've got to see amazing live performances singing Gnarls Barkley, Queen, her own classics, not to mention the intense coaching snippets we've seen of her attacking songs and teaching her techniques to her apprentices. Speaking of, we've had the wonderful opportunity to see a whole new side to Christina. Her playfulness, her editing eye in regards to vocal gymnastics, her camaraderie with the other 'Voice' coaches, her feisty fiery side, her determination, her emotional investments about her passions, we are TRULY lucky to follow someone so perfectly flawed. What's to come you ask? A new music video for 'Moves Like Jagger' Season 2 of 'The Voice' a new album... astonishing. Thank you Christina! You truly are a godsend inspiration. You're human after all, and that's what we love and respect about you. You're your own person for better or worse. No matter what you're faced with, you get right back up and set an example for us all.

Love,
Your Fans xoxo

[PHOTOS] 'BURLESQUE' ORIGINAL MOVIE COSTUMES ON DISPLAY AT 'THE ARCLIGHT' IN HOLLYWOOD

If you're fan of Christina Aguilera or simply love musicals, then you'll adore these original movie costumes worn by the pop star in the new musical spectacle in which she stars with Cher, Burlesque.

In Steven Antin's original musical, Christina Aguilera plays 'Ali', a small-town girl who moves to L.A. to pursue her dreams of fame and fortune. Once there she discovers the ailing Burlesque Lounge, owned by 'Tess' (Cher), and becomes a waitress there until she convinces the retired dancer to give her a chance on stage. During a performance when the sound is maliciously cut, Ali breaks into song and proves what a star she is, soon becoming the venue's headline act.

These costumes designed by Michael Kaplan were worn by Christina Aguilera for specific songs and stage performances in the movie.

The eye-catching costume on display, a Swarovski-encrusted corset, was worn for the song 'But I Am a Good Girl' when Stanley Tucci's character 'Sean', suggests Ali wears a wig on stage.

Michael Kaplan has said he wanted the satin pink and peach feathered costume to look like a dessert.

All these wonderful outfits were photographed on display at ArcLight Hollywood cinema in L.A. on November 24, 2010, along with this short video clip of the costume exhibit.

[VIDEO OF THE DAY] CHRISTINA AGUILERA: 'THE VOICE WITHIN'

Editor's Note:
As we patiently wait for the Release of the "You Lost Me" music video i thought it would be a good idea to go back and reflect on what Christina has brought to the table so far. Bionic IS Christina's most FUN album she has ever released with beat popping tracks like "Desnudate" "Elastic Love" "Prima Donna" among many more. The first single "Not Myself Tonight" was the phttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.giferfect single to be released putting the cherry on top for the product with the Music Video, giving it the style and look of how she wanted to promote it..with the You Lost Me music video preview i saw almost 2 videos combined, "Beautiful" & "The Voice Within" But knowing Christina Aguilera shes going to push boundaries again and make a video that will be astounding. We still have a lot coming from Christina, remember we are still waiting for the Theatrical Trailer, book, and soundtrack for Burlesque. Among many more performances and surprises she has in store for you, like a ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE COVER she has made one for every album lets see what iconic cover she bring for this edition.

[MULTIMEDIA] ET EXCLUSIVE: 'BIONIC' CHRISTINA AGUILERA ON MUSIC AND MOTHERHOOD

[SMART-PHONE FRIENDLY]

Christina Aguilera is back in the spotlight after a four-year break with her new hit album Bionic and the upcoming movie ‘Burlesque,’ and the multiple-Grammy winner reveals to ET’s own Kevin Frazier whether or not she plans to expand her family!

“Bionic is definitely my baby at the moment,” says Christina. “Eventually, in the future, I do want to expand on my family and have another one, but for now, Bionic is the baby and ‘Burlesque’ is the other baby.”

“I couldn’t be happier about … the fact that the album’s inspired by my son, and the future, and the feeling of the movement of electronica music, in a sense,” says Christina, “but still maintaining that rawness of having those definite ballads that evoke that pure, honest emotion. … Being able to just pour my heart out into the beauty and emotion of a song is very important to me.”

What kept her from the spotlight for so much time? Christina explains: “The first year we spent touring, getting pregnant, living that out, becoming a mother, taking the first year to sort of do the mom thing, feel what that’s really like, and then be inspired for my new record. Then I accepted the movie ‘Burlesque,’ and that was almost a year away from the public eye.”

Christina stars opposite Cher, Kristen Bell, Eric Dane, Alan Cumming, Julianne Hough and more in the upcoming big-screen musical, in theaters this November, and she says of the ‘Burlesque’ experience, “Acting is a completely different animal, but it definitely is something — it gave me a lot of tools to now use in my world of music.”

And Christina says that when she goes home at night after work, her two-year-old son Max with hubby Jordan Bratman gets all the attention a child deserves from a loving mother: “I sing my son to sleep with ‘Mary Poppins’ [songs],” she says, “and rock and cradle him and cover him up in bed and do really silly things that we won’t even mention.”
