[NEWS] KELLY OSBOURNE IS WRONG TO BULLY CHRISTINA AGUILERA ABOUT HER FIGURE

Karma is a bitch, isn't it? Kelly Osbourne seems to think so. Before shedding 45 pounds during her stint on Dancing With the Stars, Ozzy Osbourne's daughter-turned-clothing designer/celeb fashion expert had a lot of weight haters. And now that she's thin, she's apparently just as mature as the rest of 'em.

After seeing a picture of Christina Aguilera looking a bit heavier (OK, a lot heavier), she's firing back at the "Genie in a Bottle" songstress for looking chubtastic. Osbourne told E!'s Fashion Police:
"She called me fat for years. I was never that fat."
Oh come on, Kelly. As a former fat girl, you should know that two wrongs don't make a right.

By the photos, it does look like Aguilera has gained some weight. But she is by no means obese. So I pose this question to Kelly: What does it matter if she's bigger than you ever were? How does saying this sort of thing do anyone any good? The right thing to do here is be the bigger woman (figuratively, of course). I'd imagine that Kelly can sympathize with Aguilera on how difficult it is to be in the spotlight and be a bit heavier.

Hell, I can definitely sympathize with the "being heavy" part myself. Since I was overweight for a lot of my teen years, I understand that it isn't easy. Not to mention, it's not always a choice. There's often a family history of obesity, a valid reason for being unable to exercise, or a host of other contributing factors. Because I've been there, I'm much less likely to criticize another person for the way she looks. While picking on someone else may make you think better of yourself, I'm a true believer that what goes around comes around to bite you in the backside. What if Kelly gains some weight back? Does this mean she's saying it's OK to tell her she looks horrendous? Because that's the message I'm getting here, anyway.

These are two different women with two very different body types. Apparently, being chub didn't teach Osbourne some of the same lessons I learned. And something tells me if she had a child just two years ago, like Aguilera, she'd be singing a different tune.

Do you think Kelly is out of line talking about Aguilera's weight?

  1. Its pure jealousy. Obviously there always been something you never hear christina tell the media anything negative about kelly but kelly always has something to say like get over it how long as it been?
