After a four-year absence, Christina Aguilera is being welcomed back to radio with open arms. The singer's new single, "Not Myself Tonight," is the No. 1 most added song at mainstream top 40 and rhythm radio this week. According to Nielsen BDS, the song garnered 73 adds at top 40 (99 over two weeks) and 19 adds at rhythmic radio. Receiving 886 plays over six days at top 40 radio, the song is poised to debut high next week on the Mainstream Top 40 chart.
Produced by Polow da Don (Keri Hilson, Usher, Fergie), the tribal house-inspired track is the first single from Aguilera's forthcoming new album, "Bionic" (RCA, June 8). The single will become available at iTunes and all other digital providers on April 13.

In addition to Polow da Don, the album features the Grammy Award-winning singer collaborating with Sia, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart, Le Tigre, Hill & Switch and Ladytron. She also reunites with songwriter Linda Perry, who contributes a ballad titled "Lift Me Up." Perry also wrote the singles "Hurt" and "Candyman" from Aguilera's last studio album, 2006's "Back to Basics," and her 2002 hit "Beautiful." To date, "Back to Basics" has sold 1.7 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Aguilera's 2008 greatest hits set, "Keeps Getting Better: A Decade of Hits," has sold 338,000.
"['Bionic'] was put together to represent those different parts of myself," writes Aguilera in a special message to fans on her Web site. "I chose to collaborate with a variety of artists and producers across I was able to explore and create a fresh, sexy feel using both electronic and organic elements." The singer recently completed her first film role in "Burlesque," which co-stars Cher. The movie is due to premiere in fall 2010.
