CHRISTINA GOES CLUBBING AHEAD OF X FACTOR FINALS DUET WITH A "FREAKED OUT" REBECCA FERGUSON

Christina Aquilera appeared to need the steadying hand of her new boyfriend Matthew Rutler in the early hours of this morning after a night out at London's trendy Mahiki nightspot - just hours before she hits the stage on tonight's X Factor final.

The Dirrrty singer is to duet with Rebecca Ferguson who apparently 'freaked out' yesterday and demanded that all her songs be changed at the last minute.

Christina however seems far more laid-back about her imminent X Factor live performance and she only returned to her hotel at 2am this morning. Let's just hope she got a good night's sleep in time for today's rehearsals and all-important live show tonight...

Christina, 29, clearly felt the need to let her hair down when she arrived in London, having been busy promoting new movie Burlesque, in which she stars with the original Cher.

On Thursday night, Christina was in Madrid for the Spanish premiere of the film, which tells the story of a smalltown girl who ends up working as an erotic dancer in Los Angeles, and opens in the UK next week. She met Rutler on the set of the movie, where he worked as her personal assistant.

And her new beau has been there to support the star ever day this week, in what's been a most trying time for the Beautiful star.

Earlier in the week, nude photos had emerged on the internet of Christina, posing inside what appeared to be her walk-in closet wearing just body jewelery and nipple coverings.

It's believed the photographs were hacked from an email account belonging to Christina's stylist.
Let's hope that Rebecca hasn't seen the photos - she so shy she has enough trouble looking people in the eye as it is.

However, the Scouse songbird apparently revealed her more fiery side yesterday when she 'flipped out' at mentor Cheryl Cole.

The Daily Mirror reports that Rebecca rang the Girls Aloud star in floods of tears at 4am yesterday, sobbing: 'Everything is wrong' and begging Cheryl to change all three songs she's due to sing this weekend.

Cheryl and her team immediately set to work working on new tracks.
It means some 70 hours of rehearsals have been wasted.

Rebecca is the 5/2 second favourite to win the show, behind favourite Matt Cardle.
He will be teaming up with Rihanna tonight, whereas One Direction perform with Take That and Cher Lloyd with Will.i.am.

Take That meanwhile will be performing on Sunday's grand final, along with a rumoured appearance by Prince.
